Getting Where You Want Is An Inside Job

Now you may be not making money right now – or maybe you’re making a little here and there but it’s likely that something is blocking you from making what you want.

Often I find it’s your mindset.

I’ve worked with all sorts of women in my programs to help them develop their marketing and online business strategy but I’ve come to realize that there are some women entrepreneurs who continue to struggle even when the roadmap is placed right in front of them.

Often times the reason they can’t move forward is because they’re paralyzed as a result of one, a combination or all of the following blocks.

1. Not Trusting Oneself
2. Not Trusting the Plan
3. Not Knowing the How

Let me explain this to you further so you can see how this manifests when you don’t overcome these blocks:

1. Not trusting yourself shows up as – not making decisions, not charging enough, not feeling confident, playing small, not taking a stand for yourself, not talking about your business with your family, husband, wife or partner, not taking calculated risks.

2. Not trusting the plan or process – this is when an expert, a coach or mentor who has successfully achieved what you want shows you the map, tells you what you want is achievable and you still don’t take action. How it shows up is that you reject the plan, do it yourself thinking you’ll save money but in the end you waste time and money trying to navigate the plan yourself.

In the end when you don’t get guidance you won’t progress. You’ll be watching others make strides and you won’t or it will take much longer to do so.

3. Not knowing the how – shows up in you over thinking, second-guessing, being attracted to too many bright shiny objects and not implementing because it feels to “heavy” or frightening.

It’s when instead of asking for help or hiring an expert you try and then stop – or even worse, you don’t even try at all.

So what’s the solution?

It’s to start trusting yourself. To find a mentor who is where you long to be and have faith that when you follow their suggestions that they’ll work.

And even if they don’t right away – that you’ll stick with it, approach the challenge from a new angle and keep going.

Because isn’t it better to get help with the inner stuff that’s blocking your way so that you can be the one on the beach sipping cocktails or picking up your kids from swimming lessons knowing and trusting that you’ve done all you can to create a truly successful business?
