Simple Strategies to Increase Your Subscribers
January 5, 2012
Forgotten on Facebook
Have you noticed how easy it is to get onto Facebook and get lost in links, photos and status updates? Have you noticed that your Facebook Business Page seems to have been forgotten? There’s a reason for this..it has. Your Facebook page should be a community for your fans to gather, where they learn, connect and interact with you. It’s also a place where you can promote your services…periodically of course. You want to encourage your subscribers to add you to a list so that they don’t miss any of your valuable content. Do this first for yourself and then remind your fans to do this too. Here’s all you need to do:
- Go to your home page on Facebook and on the left side where you see “lists” you’re your cursor to the right and you will see “more”. Click on that.
- Next go to “Create a List”. Then choose a name for your list. I chose “Facebook Pages”.
- Then you will want to select names of pages to that list. Now don’t forget to add mine to your list: http://Facebook.com/Shesconfident This way you will be sure to see all the content from the pages you want to see most when you select that list to see updates.
Now make sure you tell your followers how to find you.
Schedule a Q & A Open Call
This is an easy way to build your subscription list. In the next month offer a 30 to 60 minute session where your prospects can call in to ask any of their burning questions. Promote this in your ezine and social media. Use a teleconference service such as http://freeconferencing.com and then record the call using www.AudioAcrobat.com* This is a great way to develop trust with your prospects and offer value. Design the call so that at the end you offer an opportunity for individuals to schedule a complimentary strategy session to have personalized support.
Get a Gravatar
One way to build your online presence is to comment on blogs. This will drive potential customers to your website if you have a Gravatar set up. A gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site which appears next to your name when you comment or post on a blog. They help you identify your posts on blogs and forums on the web. If you don’t have one create your gravatar at: http://en.gravatar.com/ just click the link, follow the instructions and set up your gravatar profile. You’ll be surprised how quickly your list will grow when you include this method.
Take time this week to implement at least one of these strategies.
