I’m Done With Being a Chubby Business Owner

At first it was a few pounds. Then after a year I’d gained 10 lbs. Now that I’m in my third year working in my home based business full time, I’m 30 lbs heavier than when I’d started.
To the common eye I’m a little plump, but to me I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been (excluding my first pregnancy when I topped off at 205 lbs. which is rather large when you’re only 5’2″).
This week I said, “Enough with being a chubby home-based entrepreneur”. I’m really done with packing on the pounds and decided to take matters into my own hands and hired my first ever personal fitness trainer and coach who will be working with me over the next six months to help me lose weight, get in shape and get me looking my best for my live event, Talk & Profit LIVE this October 5-7, 2016.
I think there’s a common problem with many of us who work from home. Unless we build exercise and movement into our days we’re going to keep packing on unwanted pounds.
The truth is, this doesn’t have to happen to us. As lifestyle business owners we should be taking breaks and finding better ways to take care of ourselves.
So already this week I’ve done yoga twice. Including at the beach in Ft. Lauderdale with several of my clients and entrepreneurial friends.
Pretty soon I’ll introduce you to my trainer and coach, Angela. I’ll tell you why I chose her and why I think you might want her in your life too.
But for now I’d like to invite you to look at what you’re doing and not doing for yourself when it comes to your fitness, your sleep and your food.
- How often am I getting up during the day?
- How often I exercising?
- How much sleep am I getting?
- How much am I eating or not eating?
- What kind of food am I eating throughout the day?
I encourage you to start taking this seriously because before you know it you’ll be like me too. Working later than you like. Not prioritizing sleep and barely making time to exercise.
There’s no excuse! Let’s take care of ourselves starting right now!
