Have you been working on your signature talk, webinar, or workshop and wondered how long your story should be, how much you should share, or what type of story to share? In this video I'm sharing how you can come up with the right story for your signature talk.
Today I want to talk to you about your story as part of your signature talk, how to come up with your story, how long should your story be, and what you should include in your story.
First let's start by talking about why you should have a story in your signature talk what story you will want to use.
As marketers attracting clients through speaking, we need to let people know a little bit about who we are. Now I fully believe that using speaking as a way to attract clients is one of the fastest ways to get clients. But even more, when people know who you are and can trust you they are more likely to buy from you. So by you telling your story or something about your credibility it allows people to know who you are and gives them permission to basically invest in what you offer.
Why is that so important? Essentially because it develops the like, know, and trust you need in order for your ideal client to buy from you.
In today's video I want to share more specifics about using your story when you speak so that you can attract and convert more of your most ideal clients:
Your Action Steps:
- What kind of story do you want to share? Expert? Experience or a combination of the two?
- Then ask yourself, which is the most relevant story that will connect to my topic?
In the comments below, let me know your questions and thoughts about how to come up with your story. Where do you get stuck when it comes to crafting your story? I'd love to hear.
