Entrepreneurship Isn’t Insta-Perfect

There’s an Instagram account I love to follow.
It’s not one of those accounts where every picture and caption portrays rainbows and unicorns.
And it’s not one of those picture perfect unattainable people who shows how awesome entrepreneurship is while sipping cocktails from “their” yacht.
It’s a real person (much like me) who talks about life, business and all the great (and not so great) stuff that comes with it.
Not someone I’ll never be able to catch up to, but someone who’s willing to share all of the beautiful lessons that come with the ups, downs and in between.
One of the things I don’t love about some of the marketing I see is that it perpetuates a belief that life is going to be a whole lot better when you make your dream goal.
Guess what folks, all of their problems don’t miraculously go away.
Sure they have more resources to invest in getting support and buying what they’ve always wanted.
But sometimes more problems arise on the path toward greater financial success.
There may be more people to manage.
Incurred debt that still needs to be paid off.
Less nights of restful sleep.
No matter your stage of business, the best thing you can do for yourself is to be part of a community that helps you navigate your success path.
A community who can support you through every part of your journey.
Earlier this week I hosted my quarterly Scale to Six Mastermind Live Intensive where my clients come to gather for strategic business development and support for their entrepreneurial growth.
We talk about the real stuff that happens and strategies to power on.
And while I share my revenue generating tactics, what they always seem to value most is the opportunity to get real about what they’re going through and hear how I’ve navigated the waters before them.

Find your community.

What we’re missing more than anything right now is community.
Build yours and be willing to show all sides of success.
Not just a beautiful image filled Instagram feed, but with captions and insight into everything your ideal client needs to hear and know.
